You should read this if...

You've ever stood somewhere ancient and pictured all the thousands of people who have walked there before you, all the decisions that led to it existing... in short if you're also a bit of a nerd -- this is your book! It's fantastically well written, easily digestible and full of golden nugget footnotes of etymology which, to me, are the chocolate chips in the muffin. It's not too short, not too long, it's the perfect read for the knowledge thirsty.

Leadership.

Leadership begins with building psychological safety, creating a space where teams feel brave enough to explore, challenge assumptions, and champion our users with conviction. I lead with a blend of energy and steadiness, coaching designers to grow with confidence while shaping rituals that help teams move together with purpose. I've partnered with C-suite leaders to align vision, culture, and execution across organisations ranging from scrappy single-digit start-ups to global companies, always grounding the work in clarity, empathy, and collective momentum.

Strategy.

I shape product strategy by connecting user insight with the realities of business and technology. Partnering closely with product and engineering, I help define north stars, focus opportunities, and translate complexity into clear, actionable direction. From early-stage products finding their footing to global organisations navigating intricate ecosystems, I bring a future-focused approach that keeps teams aligned, intentional, and moving confidently toward meaningful impact.

Enhancing.

I'm a product designer who pairs bold curiosity with disciplined dedication. I move comfortably from insight to execution, shaping experiences that honour usability, accessibility, and aesthetic clarity in equal measure. Whether I'm building a design system for a flagship product from a blank Figma board or untangling complex cross-functional flows, I bring an optimistic, thoughtful energy that ensures the work exceeds user needs and business goals.

I make the complex, compelling.

Nine years across fintech, legaltech, and SaaS have taught me that the hardest design problems are solved through conversations, not canvasses. They're about clarity of thought, quality of relationships, and the patience to keep asking "why?".

I'm currently a Senior Product Designer at LSEG, where I lead the UI/UX Community of Practice across seven organisational silos combining design and engineering, and lead a team of designers.

I believe in design that's rigorous without being rigid, human without being naive, and ambitious without losing sight of the person at the end of it. (Also, a good diagram solves more arguments than you'd expect.)
